Can I insure an AIR OPUS?

Yes it is important to have adequate insurance. Several insurance companies provide insurance for leisure vehicles, some offering discounts depending on security devices used etc. We recommend Safeguard Insurance whom offer discounts when using our selected security products – you can visit Safeguard online at or call 0800 977 5953.

Can the awning be stored inside the AIR OPUS during transit?

Yes, it is possible to store the awning inside the camper during transit. It fits on the floor in the main cabin area with the kitchen units fitting over the top.

Where can I store an AIR OPUS?

The AIR OPUS fits into most garages with an overall width of 201cm and length (closed) including the drawbar and hitch etc of 430cm. Alternatively you can store it on your driveway with the roof cover and storage cover (optional) to protect it throughout the year.

What are they yearly costs of owning an AIR OPUS?

We recommend having a service once a year, this can be carried out by an approved caravan workshop or an approved mobile workshop. It is also important to consider insurance costs and general maintenance costs – for example tyres, brakes, canvas treatment etc.

What kind of car do I need to tow an AIR OPUS?

You do not need a large car to tow an AIR OPUS due to it being lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Many of our OPUS owners have mid-sized hatchbacks like the Ford Focus and VW Golf. How durable is the AIR tube technology?

The AIR tube technology we used is market leading and thoroughly tested. They are extremely durable, constructed from an internal PVC bladder then 2 additional layers of heavy grade poly-cotton. We offer a 2 year warranty on the AIR tubes.

If I wish to order an AIR OPUS how long do I have to wait?

Typically 2-8 weeks from order date to delivery/collection date. Obviously this is hugely depending on the time of year – your local dealer will be able to give you a more accurate delivery date depending on their stock levels etc.

How long does it take to set up the AIR Awning?

As they say practice makes perfect – approximately 30 minutes depending on experience and the site you are pitching on.
